Abstract

Nærværende oppfinnelse gjelder et telekommunikasjonssystem, knutepunkter, apparatkort og fremgangsmåter i slike telekommunikasjonssystemer, der et knutepunkt omfatter et første apparatkort som inkluderer en mottaseksjon (25) med minst én innport (29, 31, 33) som en innbuffer (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40) er forbundet med, for mottaking av TDM-kanaler i TDM-ramrner, og med minst én sendebuffer (42, 44, 45) . Et andre apparatkort inkluderer en sendeseksjon (27) med en mottabuffer (48, 50, 51) for hvert av de øvrige apparatkortene, minst én utport (59, 61, 63) og minst én utbuffer (52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62) for hver utport. Alle TDM-kanalene som er mottatt i innbufrene og som er tiltenkt sendeseksjonen blir kopiert til en tilsvarende sendebuffer, og innholdet i sendebufferen når frem til sendeseksjonen ved sending av minst én transportmodul som kun inneholder alle de TDM-kanalene som er tiltenkt det nevnte andre apparatkortet. Transportmodulen blir mottatt i en tilsvarende mottabuffer i sendeseksjonen, og alle TDM-kanalene i alle mottabufrene som skal sendes i en ramme via en utport, blir kopiert til utbufferen som tilsvarer nevnte port.
