Abstract
Det omtales en elektrisk flerlederkabel (28) for anvendelse i et underjordisk borehull som omfatter minst en elektrisk leder (30) omgitt av et eller flere lag (32) av isolasjonsmaterial. Minst et lag av isolasjonsmaterialet omfatter etylenpropylen-dienmetylengummi fremstilt ved å anvende en stereoregulær polymerisasjonskatalysator (SEPDM) og/eller polyolefinelastomer fremstilt ved å anvende en stereoregulær polymerisasjonskatalysator (POE). Dette isolasjonsmaterialet har en høyere grad av krystallinitet med en høyere ri ft-holdbarhet og en høyere strekk-hold- barhet og mindre forlengelsestap i forhold til kjente isolasjonsmaterialer, både før og etter å ha vært utsatt for hydrokarboner i underjordiske borehullomgivelser.
