Abstract

Fremgangsmåte hvor det gjøres bruk av en oppskummet gel i et brønnhull som et ferdigstillings-, overhalings- eller kvelefluid. Den oppskummede gel dannes fra et vandig oppløsningsmiddel, en vannoppløselig, karboksylatholdig poly-mer tverrbundet med et tverrbindings-middel inneholdende et reaktivt over-gangsmetallkation, et overflateaktivt middel og en tilført gass. Den oppskummede .gel anbringes i brønnhullet, hvor den i det vesentlige hindrer strømning av formasjonsfluid inn i eller ut av brønnhullet. Deretter utføres ferdigstillings-, overhalings- eller kvele-operasjonen. Alternativt kan den oppskummede gel kombineres med et annet ferdigstillings-, overhalings- eller kvelefluid etter at en brønnhullope-rasjon er påbegynt.
