Abstract

Forholdsvis tunge forurensninger separeres fra en forurenset massesus- pensjon ved å pumpe sistnevnte gjennom en flerhydrosyklon-enhet (6) som omfatter et antall hydrosykloner. Hver hydrosyklon er utstyrt med turbulensskapende midler innrettet til å motvirke dannelse av fiber-nettverk i radialt ytre væskesjikt i hydrosyklonen. Massesuspensjonen hvorfra tunge forurensninger er separert, avvannes i en masse-opptakingsmaskin (2). Ifølge oppfinnelsen erfiberkonsen- trasjonen til massesuspensjonen som mates inn i flerhydrosyklon-enheten (6) minst 0,9%.
