Abstract
En sensor (10) med seriekoplete første (24) og andre (36) kondensatorer formet av transduserplater (14, 16, 18) mellom et ladesignal og et utgangsterminal av sensoren slik at første og andre kondensatorer mottar vesentlig samme ladning fra ladesignalet. En forsterker (26) har en første inngang koplet for mottak av en referansespenning, en andre inngang koplet til en forbindelse (28) av første og andre kondensatorer, og en utgang for å framskaffe et første sensor utgangssignal som representerer en eksternt tilført fysisk tilstand. Bryterkretsene vil så reversere den seriell rekkefølgen av første og andre kondensatorer for å få et andre sensor utgangssignal. Første og andre sensor utgangssignal blir subtrahert for å finne endringen i kapasitansen som gjelder den eksternt tilførte fysiske tilstanden.
