Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en fremgangsmåte for å samle inn informasjon om trafikksituasjoner, det vil si om gjeldende trafikksituasjon og de optimale ruter mellom en startposisjon og et mål. Med den hensikt å benytte et mobiltelefonnett på en raskere og mer effektiv måte, er det ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse foreslått en fremgangsmåte karakterisert ved at nevnte informasjon beregnes på basis av informasjon om bevegelse og posisjon av alle eller et utvalg av mobiltelefoner eller mobilt utstyr i et område, idet denne informasjon er tilveiebrakt fra selve mobiltelefonnettet, f.eks. fra et posisjonssenter (PC), fra utstyr i basestasjonen (BS) eller fra mobiltelefonen/utstyret hvis posisjonsdata tilgjengelig fra dette utstyr (f.eks. tilknyttet satellittposisjonssystem).The present invention relates to a method for collecting information about traffic situations, that is, about the current traffic situation and the optimal routes between a starting position and a target. With the intention of using a mobile telephone network in a faster and more efficient manner, according to the present invention, a method is characterized in that said information is calculated on the basis of information on movement and position of all or a selection of mobile phones or mobile equipment in an area. , since this information is provided from the mobile telephone network itself, e.g. from a location center (PC), from base station equipment (BS) or from the mobile phone / equipment whose position data is available from this equipment (eg, associated satellite positioning system).
