Abstract

Det tilveiebringes insektfrastøtende blandinger, lotion og sprayer. Den insektfrastøtende blanding inkluderer krystallinsk 3,8 p-mentandiol (kinesisk krystall), og minst to av citronella, geraniol, terpineol og rhodinol. For frastøtning av mygg og blodmidd blir blandingen løst eller dispergert i et bærermedium, slik at det resulterende produkt fortrinnsvis har vekt- prosentsatser på ca. 0,05% citronella, ca. 0,06% geraniol, ca. 0,08 til 0,5% krystallinsk 3,8 p-mentandiol, ca. 0,06% terpineol og/eller ca. 0,08% rhodinol. For lusebehandling blir blandingen fortrinnsvis løst eller dispergert i et vann- basert bærermedium, slik at det resulterende produkt har vekt-prosentsatser på ca. 0,36% citronella, ca. 0,43% geraniol, ca. 2% krystallinsk 3,8 p-mentan- diol, ca. 0,43% terpineol og/eller ca. 0,57% rhodinol.
