Abstract

The system both supplies and discharges the room air, and is also usable for recirculating it. It includes heat-recovery equipment (25) from the discharge-air current (18). A housing on the building wall (3) can be connected to the conduit (5) for the incoming ambient air, and also to that for the discharge air, and contains two separate passages, a filter element (26,27) being mounted in each. The elements together form a complete unit supported by a frame (38) which can also be used if desired to support the heat-recovery unit. The element can be at right angles to each other, forming an L-shaped unit. They can be of different thicknesses, the thicker one bering via a narrower side against the wider side of the thinner one, and they can be glued together. There can be a seal between the elements, so as to keep the two passages separate.
