Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en skjærinnsats for en fjell-borkrone og en fjell-borkrone innbefattende en slik. skjærinnsats. Den har som formål å øke slitasjebestandig-heten til hardmetall-skjærinnsatsen. Innsatsene er utformet med et hovedsakelig sylindrisk skaftparti og et konvekst for-met ytterparti. I en utføringsform av oppfinnelsen omfatter innsatsens hardmetall et antall soner og grensen mellom to tilstøtende soner beskriver en usymmetrisk bane sett både i et sideriss-snrtt og i et grunnriss-snitt. I en ytterligere utfø-ringsform er innsatsene også utstyrt med partier av øket volum i de deler av innsatsen som er mest utsatt for slitasje.
