Foreliggende oppfinnelse gjelder et sveisematerial for elektronstrålesveising, idet sveisematerialet er et legert material av aluminium/magnesium/silisium av typen 6061 og har et mengdeinnholdsforhold R mellom magnesium og silisium som er større enn eller lik verdien av det støkiometriske forhold.
