Abstract

Fremgangsmåten for å karakterisere anisotropi omfatter injeksjon, ved et punkt i et permeabelt porøst medium mettet med et første fluid, av et annet fluid som er perfekt blandbart med det første og med lignende egenvekt, deteksjon av de geometriske egenskapene til invasjonsfronten for det annet fluid ved et gitt tidspunkt, særlig ved hjelp av røntgenstråle-tomografi, idet den radiale avstand fra injeksjonspunktet ved hvert punkt på overflaten er proporsjonalt med VK i den betraktede retning, måling av en absolutt permeabilitetsverdi i en eller armen referanseretning og global kvantifisering av permeabilitetsverdiene for mediet ved å ta hensyn til invasjonsfrontens geometri. Fremgangsmåten kan anvendes til undersøkelse av permeable medier, og spesielt bergarter.
