Abstract

Det FBB- reduserende element omfatter en optisk krets (10) som inneholder minst to bøl- gelengdeselektive filtre (16, 19), hvert i forhold til et bølgelengdebånd som inneholder ett av de optiske signaler, idet filtrene (16, 19) er optisk serie- koplet med hverandre over en optisk bane, idet lengden av minst ett avsnitt (18) av den optiske bane som ligger mellom to fortløpende filtre (16, 19), er større enn den lengde som svarer til koherenstiden til minst en av kildene for optiske signaler.
