Abstract
Un sistema de telecomunicacion optica que comprende por lo menos dos fuentes de señales opticas moduladas a diferente longitudes de onda, teniendo los tiempos de coherencia respectivos; un multiplexor para multiplexar dichas señales en una fibra optica comun unica; una línea de fibra optica conectada en un extremo a dicha fibra optica comun de dicho multiplexor; medios para recibir dichas señales; un elemento para reducir el mezclado de cuatro ondas (FWM) entre dichas señales, generalmente conectado en serie a lo largo de dicha línea de fibraoptica, en donde dicho elemento reductor de mezclado de cuatro ondas comprende un circuito optico que incluye por lo menos dos filtros selectivos de longitud de onda, cada uno relativo a una banda de longitud de onda incluyendo una de dichas señales opticas, dichos filtros estando conectados opticamente en serie uno con otro sobre una trayectoria optica, la longitud de por lo menos una seccion de dicha trayectoria optica incluida entre dos filtros consecutivos siendo mayor que la longitud correspondiendo al tiempo de coherencia de por lo menos una de dichas fuentes de señales opticas.
