Abstract
Det omtales en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av adsorpsjons- material for adsorpsjon av tungmetaller, hydrokarboner og andre forurensende stoffer fra avløpsvann og lignende for rensing av slike. I et første trinn av fremgangsmåten knuses brunalger, deretter ekstraheres alginatene fra biomassen, bio- massen presses og knuses deretter til korn med en størrelse på omtrent 1000 Jim, den knuste biomassen skylles en første gang med sjøvann, deretter en andre gang med ferskvann. Det om- tales også regenereringstrinn og patroner for anvendelse av adsorpsjonsmaterialet.
