Det er beskrevet manganholdige nikkel(II )hydroksyd- pulvere, hvorved minst 50 % av manganet foreligger i 3- ; verdig oksydasjonstilstand, og hvor en del av manganet kan være erstattet med ett eller flere andre i 3-verdig , oksydasjonstilstand foreliggende elementer. Det er i videre angitt en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av pulverene og det er beskrevet anvendelse av de oppnådde pulverene.
