Abstract

En krympemuffe av ekspandert kunststoff, særlig til forbindelse av kapperør på preisolerte fjernvarmerør (10), er forsynt med en rekke bølger eller folder (5) som strekker seg over i det minste halvparten av muffens omkrets.ølgenes (5) høyde varierer fra et maksimum (7a) på den ene side av muffen til et minimum på den andre side, fortrinnsvis slik at den ene side av muffen er helt glatt. De asymmetriske folder (5) medfører at muffen lett kan tilpasses en forbindelse av rørene i et bend. Den side av muffen som ligger ytterst i bendet, vil således kunne strekkes, uten at innersiden av bendet blir krøllet sammen. Derved vil den påfølgende krymping med påvirkning fra en blåseflamme kunne foregå slik at den krympede muffe ligger glatt an mot bendet både på yttersiden og innersiden.
