Abstract

Beskyttende vandig antlmikrobiologisk fllmdannende sammensetning som kan bli påført melkende dyr for å danne en beskyttende film. Filmen kan bli anvendt for å redusere forekomst av både smittsom og miljømessig mastltt l melkebesetnlnger og kan bil dannet fra en vandig sammensetning som kan inneholde et ikkeionlsk Jodkompleks, en polyvinylalkoholsammensetning som har en grad av hydrolyse som er høyere enn 92 %, for- trinnsvis høyere enn 98 %, og et tykningsmiddel. Den vandige blandingen kan bli påført spener og Jur til melkebesetninger for å danne et beskyttende belegg som kan forhindre infeksjon av staphylococcus, strepto- coccus, klebsiella og andre patogener. Filmen kan bli fjernet ved å anvende vann i en hensiktsmessig kort tidsperiode som tillater effektive melkeoperasjoner. Etter melking kan sammensetningen bli påført på nytt til besetningen og kan beskytte besetningen mot mastitt inntil besetningen igjen blir melket.
