Abstract

Muffe for vem av kabelspleiser til elektriske eller kommunikasjonskabler. Den består av ett eller flere elementer for lederforbindelse og et ytre muffelegeme som vernekappe for spleiseforbindelsen. Vernekappa overtar da tetningsfunksjonen mot kabelen og verner samtidig spleiseforbindelsen mot ytre påvirkninger. Kabelmuffa (1) består av ett eller flere rørsegmenter (13-16). Endeområdene (132, 141, 142, 151, 152, 161, 162, 131) til rørsegmentene overlapper hverandre og danner mellom seg i det minste en inntaksåpning (100-103) i tangentiell retning for kabel. Det opptaksrommet som dermed dannes i kabelmuffa blir dekket av en øvre og en nedre dekkdel (11, 12) idet den nedre dekkdelen (l 1) er fast forbundet med rørsegmentene (13-16).
