Abstract

When each pulse in the coded pulse train is applied to a modulation circuit (14), the impedance characteristic of the modulation circuit (14) and an impedance matching circuit (15) are changed. As a result, the transponder antenna (S) reflects the electromagnetic wave emitted from the interrogator unit.
