Abstract
En elektromagnetisk bølge sendt ut fra en interrogator-enhet (l, l') mottas av en transponder-antenne (5) og omformes til en eneste puls ved hjelp av en demodulasjonskrets (7). I en pulsforsinker-generator (8) forsinkes den eneste puls sekven- sielt ved hjelp av forsinker-elementer (9) for derved å frembringe pulser som innbyrdes avviker i tid. En kode- innretning (11) genererer et særskilt kodet pulstog på grunnlag av de forsinkede pulser. Når hver puls i det kodede pulstog tilføres en modulasjonskrets (14), endres impedans- karakteristikken for modulasjonskretsen (14) og en impedans- tilpasningskrets (15). Som et resultat reflekterer transpond- er-antennen (S) den elektromagnetiske bølge som sendes ut fra interrogator-enheten.An electromagnetic wave emitted from an interrogator unit (1, 1 ') is received by a transponder antenna (5) and converted into a single pulse by a demodulation circuit (7). In a pulse delay generator (8), the only pulse is sequentially delayed by delay elements (9) to thereby produce pulses that differ in time. A coding device (11) generates a specially coded pulse train on the basis of the delayed pulses. When each pulse in the coded pulse train is applied to a modulation circuit (14), the impedance characteristic of the modulation circuit (14) and an impedance matching circuit (15) are changed. As a result, the transponder antenna (S) reflects the electromagnetic wave emitted from the interrogator unit.
