Abstract

Det er beskrevet en membranmodul (10) for fjerning av gassformede stoffer fra en gasstrøm, spesielt for rensning av spillgass ved hjelp av mikroorga- nismer, hvor det er anordnet en endeløs fleksibel membranlomme (12) som sammen med en fleksibel støt- testruktur (14) er anordnet sammenfoldet eller 76 viklet som avstandsholder i et hus og som fyller i det vesentlige husets indre rom. Støttestrukturens (14) tykkelse bestemmer rommets vidde som holdes fri mellom de enkelte, over hverandre anordnede skikt av membranlommen (12) og som skal gjennom- strømmes av gassen som skal renses. Membranlommen (12) fylles med en flytende reaksjonsblanding ved hjelp av et eneste tilløp (18) og tømmes ved hjelp av et eneste avløp (20), idet gasstrømmen gjennom- strømmer huset og støttestrukturen (14) som er anordnet mellom de enkelte skikt i membranlommen (12). Til membranlommen (12) anvendes fortrinnsvis en mikroporøs strukket PTFE-membran som er forsynt med et flatedekkende, kontiuerlig overtrekk av et hydrofilt materiale, spesielt med en vanndampperme- abilitet på minst 1000 g pr. m2 pr. døgn.
