Anordning for undersøkelse av hjulringen til et toghjul, omfattende et stativ (1), en skinne (10) for understøttelse av hjulet (52), festet til et horisontalt parti av stativet (1), langsgående styreelementer (8, 9) festet til et vertikalt parti (6, 7) av stativet (1) og ragende i en retning som er parallell med skinnen (10), glidefringer festet til det horisontale partiet av stativet (1) og ragende i en retning som er parallell med skinnen (10), og en vogn (18) som kan beveges langs glidefringene. Vognen (18) holder en slipeinnretning og en hardhets-måleinnretning (21). Det er anordnet midler (37, 43) som muliggjør utøvelse av en kraft mot hardhets-måleinnretningen (21). På vognen (18) kan det også være anordnet en innretning (22) for ultralyd-undersøkelse. r
