Mottaker (1) av personsøkertypen, omfattende en mottakerkrets (3) for å fange opp og demodulere et utsendt anropssignal. Signalet inneholder synkroniserings-, adresse- og meldings/infor- masjonskodeord. Mottakerens (1) nettdel (16) er koblet via omkoblingskretser (3b) for å spare energi når det ikke er nødvendig å motta anropssignalet. En dekoder (4) har kommando over omkob- lingskretsene (3b) og slår av strømmen til mottakerkretsen så snart synkroni- seringskodeordet som gjelder den aktu- elle mottaker er gjenkjent. Dette kan i de fleste tilfeller finne sted bare etter få gjennomløpte bit i kodeordet. Anvendelse er særlig personsøkermot- takere hvor man ønsker god autonomi, for eksempel i kombinert utførelse med et armbåndsur.
