Abstract

Brokopling for å sammenkople en borestreng (14) med en øvre rørformet del, især en sikkerhetsventil (16) i en borerigg, samt en aktuator (12) for koplingen (10). Brokoplingen (10) kopler raskt og nøyaktig ved lavt dreiemoment, og omfatter en stamme (40) med en utvendig gjenget nedre ende for tilkop- ling til et borerørs øvre endre med indre gjenger, samt en gjenget øvre ende for sammenkopling til en øvre del på boreriggen. En skulderhylse (46) omslutter og er festet til stammen (40). En avstandshylse (52) omslutter stammens nedre ende i avstand fra skulderhylsen (46). En skulder (50) på avstandshylsen (52) ligger an mot borerørets (14) øvre kant når boreræret er skrudd inn i stammen (40). En aktuatorhylse (62) omslutter stammen (40). Skulderhylsen (46) kan drive en kilering (58) inn mellom stammen (40) og skulderhylsen (46) og stramme stammen (40) og belaste skulderen (50) slik at røret låses. En aktuator (12) omfatter en øvre gaffel (28) for anlegg mot stammen (40) og en nedre gaffel (32) for anlegg mot aktuatorhylsen (62).
