En reflektiv forsinkelseslinje i overflatebølgeteknikk har en inn- gangs-/utgangs-interdigitalomformer (10) og flere overflatebølgereflektorer (11,12,...,N), av hvilke minst en del hver er forskjøvet med en matematisk tilfeldig verdi fra de posisjoner som motsvarer halvparten av den respektive ønskede gangtid av overflatebølgen mellom inngangs/utgangs-interdigitalom- formeren (10).
