Abstract

Switch drives are used for transmitting force from the front of a switching installation to a switching device located in the switching installation. The object here is to simplify the switching operations of a switch drive of the type already mentioned and to provide self-controlling mechanisms which close or open operating openings, indicate unambiguous switch positions and automatically lock the cable connecting spaces, depending on the switching operation. The solution provides that a switching-on spring (6) and a switching-off spring (20) are simultaneously clamped at the maximum force point during manual switching rotation of an operating shaft (1). In this case, mechanical coupling elements (3, 4, 22, 23, 17, 16, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 39), > [sic] are moved into the switched-on position, and the switching-off spring is held in the clamped position via a switching-off spring lever (19). A transverse slide (36), which can be operated by the switching shaft (38), makes it possible to lock the operating shafts (1, 80) alternately, is used as the switch position indication, and locks the cable connecting spaces by means of a driver shaft (35) which is connected to the transverse slide and has a locking lever (33). Such a switch drive is suitable for medium-voltage switch devices, especially for load interrupter switches. <IMAGE>
