Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning for installasjon av en tung, ballastbar fundamentkonstruksjon på en sjøbunn i forbindelse med store havdyp. Konstruksjonens ballast eller oppdrifts-kammer eller kammere fylles med luft slik at konstruksjonen kan fløtes ut til installasjonsstedet i overvannsstilling.På installasjonsstedet fylles konstruksjonens ballastkammere. med en væske lettere enn vann fra et nærliggende fartøy samtidig som luften fjernes eller slippes ut av konstruksjonen, og en del av vannballasten i konstruksjonen fortrenges ut fra åpninger i konstruksjonens lavere deler, inntil denne er vektløs eller oppdriftsnøytral. Deretter tilføres en ytterligere avpasset mengde eller volum væske til konstruksjonen samtidig som et tilsvarende volum vann fortrenges fra konstruksjonens lavere deler med den virkning at denne synker med forutbestemt hastighet mot sjøbunnen. Når konstruksjonen har nådd en forønsket høyde over havbunnen, avbrytes synkebevegelsen. Konstruksjonen bukseres sideveis til ønsket posisjon hvoretter den ballasteres ytterligere for nedsetting på sjøbunnen. Ved hjelp av en slange som strekker seg opp til overvansstilling tilveiebringes et undertrykk innenfor konstruksjonens skjørt,. og konstruksjonen presses ned i havbunnen.
