Mantlene (og5) er slik dimensjonert at de har tilstrekkelig formstabilitet til å håndteres som separate komponenter, med tilstrekkelig avfyringsstyrke på grunn av sammenfcyingen.Ved å endre innermantelen (15), kan ammunisjonslegemet som fremstilles på denne måte, utstyres med forskjellige, aktive deler som er egnet for bruksformålet.
