Abstract

Nukleinsyresekvenser og fremgangsmåter for deres anvendelse som gir frøspesifikk transkripsjon for å modulere eller modifisere ekspresjon i frø, spesielt embryoceller. Transkrip-sjonsinitieringsområder blir identifisert og isolert fra planteceller og anvendt til å fremstille ekspresjonskassetter som så kan transformeres inn i planteceller for frøspesifikk transkripsjon. Metoden finner spesiell anvendelse i forbindelse med modifisering av fettsyreproduksjon i frvev.
