Abstract

The invention relates to a screwless connecting terminal for electrical equipment, particularly for installation equipment, whose housing (6) has at least one insertion opening (2) for leads (3) to be connected and holds a terminal spring (4) with terminal limbs (5) together with a terminal body (7), between which a lead can be clamped, the terminal limb being moved from the clamped position by a pressure piece (9) guided in the terminal body (7). It is provided that the pressure piece (9) in its original position has a point of rotation (12) located at a low level with respect to the clamping point of the terminal spring (4) and, as a consequence of its guide shoulders (13, 14), can be laid obliquely with respect to the terminal body (7) in that the pressure piece (9) is supported on an installation wall (15) adjacent to the terminal limb (5) and the installation point of the foot of the pressure piece can climb up the installation wall. <IMAGE>
