Description

Technical Field
The technical solution relates to a swimming pool, sink or tank with a movable floor, as well as movable partition walls of swimming pools and movable platforms located under water or other fluid for immobile persons swimming in the swimming pools.
Background Art
For the movement of movable floors, partition walls and platforms or other parts of the swimming pool, for example for the purpose of immobile persons, several technological variants on the principle of hydraulic scissors with a drive outside the pool are currently being used on the principle of the motion technology using ropes and rollers anchored to the floor of the pool with a drive located outside the swimming pool, on the principle of a drive located in the design of a movable floor, on the principle of folding floor segments into a designated part of the swimming pool.
Other technological principles for the movement of parts of swimming pools include the principle of vertical shafts mounted in the body of the swimming pool wall, where horizontal transmission shafts are located in a swimming pool groove. These drive systems of swimming pool movable parts are cooled and lubricated by means of water coming from an overflow groove only, and, therefore, the depth of the overflow groove is adjusted to a minimum height. In the groove, the overflow from the groove is discharged at a certain height above the bottom of the groove to form the desired depth of water throughout the groove.
This, however, degrades the sense of overflow grooves as far as the accumulation of water is concerned and greatly reduces the comfort of operating such swimming pools. With more onrush of water over the edge of the pool to the overflow groove, water can easily get out of this groove and into the swimming pool area. The vertical shaft is located in a vertical niche, with the bottom and the upper part thereof being supported in a bearing, which simultaneously forms the passage of the vertical shaft from the inside of the swimming pool through the swimming pool wall into the overflow groove. In the overflow groove area, the vertical shaft is anchored via a bearing in a gearbox, which is driven through the gearbox by a horizontal transmission shaft. Through the passage of the vertical shaft through this part of the swimming pool wall, water flows uncontrollably into the area of the external overflow groove with water. This means that the circulation power of a pump has to be promoted in order to compensate this loss of water.
However, the uncontrolled escape of water from the swimming pool is necessary to exchange water in the overflow channel in the event that insufficient circulation of water through the overflow edge does not ensure sufficient amount of water for lubrication and cooling the gearbox and bearings of horizontal transmission shafts. This uncontrolled leakage of water through the openings in the swimming pool wall essentially fulfills the function of a skimmer overflow. In the event of a frequent and large flooding of water over the horizontal transmission shaft or the overflow groove of the swimming pool, expensive and treated water will leave irreversibly into a sanitary sewerage system.
Summary of the Technical Solution
The object of the technical solution is to eliminate the disadvantages of the aforementioned problems concerning swimming pools or basins with movable floors. This object is accomplished by a technical solution, the essence of which consists in that the drive, which assures the movement of the movable floor of the swimming pool, is deposited in the swimming pool inner space.
It is preferred that the drive which provides the movement of the movable floor of the swimming pool, which is located in the inner space of the swimming pool, is situated in the same embodiment in the two opposing walls of the swimming pool.
The drive which provides the movement of the movable floor of the swimming pool is either a horizontal transmission shaft which is coupled, on the one hand, via a seal with an engine which is located outside the interior space of the swimming pool, and, on the other hand, via a gearbox with at least one vertical screw shaft, or an engine directly connected via a gearbox with each of the vertical screw shafts.
The horizontal transmission shaft is mounted in guide bearings anchored to the wall of the horizontal well of the swimming pool, and the vertical spindle shafts are mounted in bearings anchored to the vertical well structure. A wall or lid of the swimming pool horizontal well is provided with perforating holes for connecting the inside area of the swimming pool and the horizontal well. The top of the horizontal well lid of the swimming pool does not reach the height of the overflow edge of the overflow groove.
The vertical screw shaft is connected to a boom that moves in a vertical gap of the vertical shaft lid and is in contact with the movable floor of the swimming pool.
The horizontal transmission shaft is thus not located in the overflow groove of the swimming pool but inside the swimming pool. More precisely in a horizontal well or nice located in the swimming pool wall in the upper part thereof.
It is sometimes advantageous to place this well as close as possible to the overflow edge. Sometimes it may be advantageous to place the horizontal well in a deeper part of the swimming pool wall. The horizontal well for the horizontal transmission shaft is covered with a perforated safety lid with openings according to usual requirements and standards for the swimming pool technology. This ensures the necessary cooling and lubricating all parts of the shaft mechanism and the gears by means of flowing water of the swimming pool.
The horizontal transmission shaft arranged in such a way according to the technical solution allows the full effect of the overflowing grooves of the swimming pool, while through placing the transmission shaft inside the swimming pool, a water circulation in the swimming pool is not adversely affected. The accumulation capability of the overflow grooves is fully functional and there occurs no unwanted and uncontrolled flood of water from the swimming pool. A swimming pool hydraulic system thus fully assures operational critical uses, especially in the event of a sudden large water surge across the overflow edge of the swimming pool into the overflow groove. Furthermore, both the horizontal transmission shaft and the vertical screw shaft are part of a single hermetic system inside the swimming pool. The vertical screw shaft never passes through the swimming pool wall into another space. The swimming pool is thus hermetically sealed and there occurs no uncontrolled leakage outside the overflow edge of the swimming pool.
In swimming pools, it is possible to facilitate swimming to non-swimmers by elevating the swimming pool floor. By separating water in the swimming pool by means of a movable partition wall, two spaces with floors of different depths of water will be created. It is also possible to provide one of the separate parts of the swimming pool with another water technology to achieve, for example, another water temperature in such separate swimming pool area. Placing the horizontal well of the horizontal transmission shaft improves the gearbox lubrication and cooling and prevents uncontrolled water leakage, which is excluded by this technical solution.
The technical solution complies with the principle that no bottom supports, reinforcements or bottom-mounted mechanisms are used for floor cleaning. The floor can be operated at a speed of up to 420 mm / min.
The equipments are lubricated and cooled with water and therefore there is no risk that oil or other type of lubricant could emulsify with water in the swimming pool. The construction of the floor and screw jacks is easy to clean and therefore provides substantial savings in the consumption of disinfectants. The entire floor drive can be operated from a control room or from a lifeguard room without draining the swimming pool. The service of the floor and lifting mechanism can be done once a year. The bottom is designed so as to be easy to use and maintain without any additional supports of the swimming pool floor which simplifies regular daily cleaning. Water flows smoothly and evenly through the bottom and there are no recesses where dirt can collect. This means that water quality is not affected by the lifting floor.

Figure 7 is a schematic cross section of the technical solution according to Figures 4 and 5 in the area where the motor is mounted.
Detailed Description of the Technical Solution
A swimming pool or liquid tank, which is for whatever reason required to have a movable floor (bottom), is provided with a required number of vertical screw shafts 2 to provide movement of the swimming pool movable floor 19 by means of a boom 8 or similar technical means. The vertical spindle shafts 2 are driven via a gearbox 3 either by a horizontal transmission shaft 1 with an engine 9 located outside the pool area or by at least one engine 9 which is mounted within the swimming pool and drives individually each vertical screw shaft 2 by means of the gearbox 3.
The drive of the swimming pool movable floor 19 which provides its movement, whether carried out by means of the horizontal transmission shaft 1 and a single motor 9, or so that each vertical screw shaft 2 is separately provided with a motor 9, is located in the walls of the swimming pool or tank. In the case of a square or rectangular pool, the vertical screw shafts 2 are typically located in the opposing walls of the swimming pool or tank, in small dimensions it is possible that they will be mounted in only one wall. However, the technical solution can be fully applied to swimming pools of circular or other shapes, or to segmented pools.
All vertical screw shafts 2 are mounted in a vertical well 14 which is connected to a swimming pool interior space 15. In the case of metal swimming pools, this connection is provided by perforating holes 16, in a lid 10 of the horizontal shaft 13 or in the wall of the horizontal shaft 13, whereas in the case of other pools made of different materials, this connection of the swimming pool interior space 15 with the area where the drive is mounted, can be realized in another way.
Each vertical screw shaft 2 is connected to the horizontal transmission shaft 1 via a gearbox 3, thus enabling the drive of all booms 8 to provide a change in the position of the swimming pool movable floor 19. The horizontal shaft 13 with the horizontal transmission shaft 1 can be located at any height of the swimming pool wall 18, possibly even in the vicinity of its floor 20.
The movable floor 19 is made of a perforated stainless steel sheet having non-slip properties. In the case that the movable floor 19 is used only in one part of the swimming pool, it may be equipped with a slide flap or a movable bridge so that nobody can get by swimming under the construction of the movable floor 19. The movable floor 19 is made of stainless steel beams 4 resistant to acids and its decking can be made of perforated stainless steel sheet roughened by 3D nopes having non-slip properties.
It is important that all these parts, i.e. the horizontal transmission shaft 1, the vertical screw shaft 2 and the gearbox 3 are positioned so as to be in direct connection with the fluid in the pool interior space 15, since this liquid has a significant technical effect consisting in the lubrication of all the rotary parts of this construction.
In the case of a variant technical solution, each of the vertical screw shafts 2 may be provided with a separate step motor 9.
The horizontal transmission shaft 1 is mounted in guide bearings 6 anchored to the horizontal shaft 13 of the swimming pool to prevent resonance during the rotation of the horizontal transmission shaft 1. Further, the horizontal shaft 13 is provided with a flange assembly 21 with threaded anchoring openings for positioning and subsequently anchoring the lid 10 by means of anchoring elements 11, which may be screws.
The lid 10 and / or the wall of the horizontal shaft 13, respectively, are provided with perforating openings 16 in sufficient numbers to enable the entry and exit of circulating swimming pool water for cooling and lubrication of the gearbox 3.
The vertical spindle shaft 2 located in the vertical well 14 is supported in the bearings 5 preferably in the lower and upper part of the vertical shaft 2. Bearing sleeves of the bearings 5 as well as the guide bearings 6 are fixedly anchored to the metal structure of the vertical well 14 and the horizontal well 13.
The side cover strips 22 are anchored to the vertical well 14 from both sides so as to form a vertical gap 12 for the movement of the boom 8 and at the same time for cooling and lubrication of the bearing 5 of the vertical screw shaft 2.
The horizontal transmission shaft 1 extends through the side wall 17 of the swimming pool from the area of the horizontal well 13 through the opening with the seal 7 to the engine 9.
The wall 18 of the swimming pool including the area of the horizontal well 13, including the overflow edge 23, forms a hermetically functional constructional unit which is not interrupted by any technological or construction opening for the passage of the horizontal transmission shaft 1 or the vertical screw shaft 2. The vertical shaft 14 and the horizontal shaft 13 are thus hermetically interconnected with the interior space 15 and water in the swimming pool. The horizontal transmission shaft 1 and the vertical screw shaft 2 are thus separated from the fluid of another physically acting hermetic space, for example the overflow groove 24.
The swimming pool with a movable floor can be also equipped with a control panel and a monitor to image the depth of the floor against the swimming pool. The control panel, including the monitor, is used to control the movement and lock of the floor. The control of the movable floor on the control panel is fixed against abuse. Further, the control panel is equipped with a safety button, which, in case of danger, shuts down the input to the drive units of the lifting mechanisms. There are monitors in the swimming pool lobby that show the current position of the floor against the swimming pool.
Industrial Applicability
This technical solution is suitable for swimming pools, relaxation pools, further for partitioning a swimming pool into two or more parts, and for platforms in swimming pools designed for immobile persons.
