Suspension device on a hammock consisting of a rectangular fabric part (2) suspended at both ends with a number of connecting elements (3, 4) attached to a common attachment device (5, 6), characterized in that the rectangular fabric part (2) is attached at one end to a flexibly stable string element (9) assigned connecting means (3) where adjustable connecting means (10) are arranged on both sides of the flexibly stable string element (9) against the fastening device (5).
