Abstract
Et målelegeme for et kjemisk injeksjonssystem omfatter et fritt stempel med et par av mekanisk akt u ert e seteventiler som kan individuelt åpne seg for å tillate fluid å gå fra en side av det frie stempel til den andre. Det frie stempel glir inn i en sylinder med sylinderhoder ved motståend ender. Inngags/utgangsporter er anordnet i sylinderhodene. I en froretrukket utførelse har seteventilen aktuatorer som strekker seg utover de motstående flater av det frie stempel. Hvis en flate av stempelet beveger seg til innen en forhåndsbestemt avstand, til et sylinderhode, kontakter aktuatoren sylinderhodet og ytterligere bevegelse av stempelet bevirker at den tilhørende seteventil åpner seg, og tillater fluid å strømme gjennom stempelet. På denne måten, kan et feil-tolerant system implementeres.
