Abstract
Utskytingsbar enhet (1) så som en granat eller liknende, for bruk i et våpen og omfattende et stridshode (4) for å generere ikke-nukleære elektromagnetiske pulser. Det er et behov for våpen som kan brukes for mange forskjellige formål, fra å gi meget begrensete ikke-letale virkninger, til full (strids)-virkning. Samtidig må våpenutvalget holdes nede i antall. I så måte presenteres den utskytingsklare enhet muligheten for å etablere flere typer virkninger for forskjellige operative moduser, ved bruk av en og samme utskytingsbare enhet, samtidig med at vekten av den ammunisjon som må bæres holdes nede. Den presenterte løsning innebærer at utskytingsbare enhet i tillegg til stridshodet for å generere ikke-nukleære elektromagnetiske pulser omfatter et termobarisk stridshode uten farlige fragmenter, og at de omfattete krigshoder i kombinasjon er anordnet for å arbeide i forskjellige moduser i avhengighet av typene mål og/eller forutsetninger for aktivitet, styrt ved innsiktingen og innstillingen av våpenet, av skytteren.
