Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører et fleksibelt rør for transport av fluider og gasser, for eksempel anvendelig for vanntransport, og ved offshore transport av råolje, for eksempel fra sjøbunnen til en installasjon eller mellom installasjoner. Det fleksible røret i henhold til oppfinnelsen innbefatter en ny type armeringslag som er fremstilt av en kombinasjon av en eller flere profilerte tråder (17) og en eller flere foldede metallremser (31, 32). Begrepet "endeløs" blir brukt for å antyde at tapene og profilene er meget lange sammenlignet med sine andre dimensjoner.
