Abstract
Framgangsmåte for måling av munnstykkhastigheten til et prosjektil eller dets like. Oppfinnelsen foreslår at våpenløpet eller avfyringsløpet (1), eller munnstykkebremsen (3) brukes som en bølgeleder som, likevel, drives under grensefrekvensen til den relevante bølgeledermodusen (TE; TM). Transmisjonskoplerens (6, 10.1, 11.1) relevante bølgeleder modus. En oscillator genererer signalet som så videresendes til transmisjonskopleren. Bølgelederen og prosjektilet (2) danner et system i hvilket det elektromagnetiske feltet ved mottakskopleren (7, 10.2, 11.2) influeres ved posisjonen til prosjektilet (2). Den karakteristiske raten på endringen av det elektromagnetiske feltet ved lokasjonen til mottakskopleren (7, 10.2, 11.2), som er et resultat av endringen i avstand mellom prosjektilet (2) og mottakskopleren (7, 10.2, 11.2), er målt og brukes til å bestemme munnstykkehastigheten (Vc).
