Abstract
For fastsettelse av den optimerte og kortest mulige kjørestrekning idet det tas hensyn til geografiske forhold i sjøområdet og en ønsket dykkedybde til undervannsfartøyet, tilordnes ved en fremgangsmåte for bestemmelse av en kjørestrekning for et undervannsfartøy i et havområde mellom et start- og målpunkt (S, Z), et utsnitt av et sjøkart med kartografisk angitte dybdeangivelser som omfatter et start- og målpunkt (S, Z), et nett av masker begrenset ved kanter som er forbundet med hverandre ved hjelp av knutepunkter, og hver kant får en vekting avledet fra dybdeangivelsen i sjøkartet. Gående ut fra startknutepunktet (A2) som ligger i startpunktet som et første aktuelt knutepunkt, tilordnes fortløpende naboknutepunktene til det aktuelle knutepunktet hver gang en totalvekting avledet av kantenes vekting, og dette gjennomføres til alle knutepunkter er blitt behandlet som aktuelle knutepunkter. Gående ut fra målknutepunktet (D4) som ligger i målpunktet, leter man suksessivt frem til startknutepunktet (A2) det respektive, forutgående knutepunktet for den laveste totalvekting og angir det som veipunkt for den etterspurte kjørestrekningen.
