Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår en innretning for å omdanne vindenergi til mekanisk energi. Innretningen omfatter et vindpåvirket element forbundet til basestasjon via et trekkrep, et trekkrep reservoar anordnet på basestasjonen og tilpasset for å motta en del av trekkrepet, en styreinnretning tilpasset for syklisk å fire ut trekkrepet fra trekkrepets reservoar og hale det inn, en energiomformer tilpasset for å konvertere energi fra vindkraft overført av det vindpåvirkede element via trekkrepet, samt bevegelsen av delen av trekkrepet firt ut fra trekkrepets reservoar, til en elektrisk, termodynamisk eller mekanisk form for energi, en styreinnretning tilpasset for å generere en styrebevegelse ved hjelp av en første akse eller i en første retning av det vindpåvirkede element i forhold til luftstrømmen, en styreenhet tilpasset for a bringe, ved hjelp av styreinnretningen, det vindpåvirkede element til en fluktposisjon med lav reptrekk etter utfiring av delen av trekkrepet, og for å bringe delen av trekkrepet til en fluktposisjon med et høyt reptrekk etter at delen av trekkrepet er halt inn. Oppfinnelsen karakteriseres ved det vindpåvirkede element har en aerodynamisk profil som genererer, når vinden slår mot den i en vinkel vinkelrett på trekkrepet, et løft i trekkrepets retning. Styreinnretningen er tilpasset for å generere en styrebevegelse av det vindpåvirkede element i forhold til luftstrømmen i en andre retning eller i en andre akse som er forskjellig fra den første retning eller akse. Styreenheten er tilpasset for å forflytte det vindpåvirkede element i en forhåndsbestemt bane i et plan vinkelrett på trekkrepet.
