Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for drift av en kompressorenhet (1), særlig for undersjøisk drift. Ved en komprimering skal faren for en gasshydratdannelse minimeres. Fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen fjerner denne risikoen, idet komponenter i kompressorenheten (1) pådras med frostbeskyttelsesmiddel (73) eller det sprøytes et frostbeskyttelsesmiddel (73) inn i strømningsstrekningen til det transportmediet (naturgass) som skal komprimeres. Det foreslås også en kompressorenhet for drift i samsvar med fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen.
