Abstract

Systemer og fremgangsmåter for perseptuell forhåndsvisning av bilder er beskrevet. I ett aspekt blir et likefremt forhåndsvisningsbilde generert ved nedsampling av et større bilde. Perseptuelle trekk ved det større bildet blir så detektert. Informasjon knyttet til de detekterte perseptuelle trekkene blir så innlemmet i det likefremme forhåndsvisningsbildet for å skape et perseptuelt forhåndsvisningsbilde. Siden det perseptuelle forhåndsvisningsbildet innlemmer informasjon knyttet til de detekterte perseptuelle trekkene vil en som betrakter det perseptuelle forhåndsvisningsbildet med større sannsynlighet oppdage tilstedeværelse eller fravær av slike perseptuelle trekk i det større bildet.
