Abstract
En separatortank omfatter en hovedsakelig sylindrisk vertikal tank (1) som har en øvre del (6) og en nedre del (7), et tangensielt arrangert innløp (2) for fluid i den øvre delen av tanken, minst et første utløp (4) i den øvre delen av tanken, minst et andre utløp (3) i den nedre delen av tanken, og midler (12) for å roe ned en strøm rundt det andre utløpet.
