Abstract

Oppfinnelsen er en fremgangsmåte og anordning for å levere store volumer av nitrogengass, luft eller annen gass ved høyt trykk fra flaskebatterier bestående av høytrykksflasker, og frigjøre gassen med en rate avhengig av anvendelsen. Ikke bare oppnår man høyere strømningsrater: Fravær av motorer eller maskiner kan være en fordel i potensielt farlige områder, og kan øke påliteligheten i gassleveransene. I tillegg kan, i motsetning til ved bruk av flytende nitrogen, som typisk må leveres fra fjerntliggende luftseparasjonsanlegg, disse flaskebatteriene fylles med ny gass av flyttbare kompressorer eller nitrogengeneratorer.
