Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for oppkonsentrering av en vandig ammoniumkarbamatstrøm, som har blitt dannet i en prosess for fremstilling av urea, har et trykk på mellom 0,20 MPa og 0,9 MPa, en temperatur på mellom 35?C og 95?C, og inneholder minst 25 vektprosent H2O, omfattende: et trykkøkningstrinn, hvor den vandige ammoniumkarbamatstrømmen økes i trykk til et trykk på mellom 1,0 MPa og 7 MPa; et konsentrasjonstrinn, hvor den vandige ammoniumkarbamatstrømmen kontakteres med en gasstrøm, som har blitt dannet i en prosess for fremstillingen av melamin og som hovedsakelig består av NH3, CO2 og eventuelt H2O, og har et lavere H2O-innehold enn den vandige ammoniumkarbamatstrømmen, gasstrømmen blir absorbert i den vandige ammoniumkarbamatstrømmen på en slik måte at en oppkonsentrert ammoniumkarbamatstrøm dannes som inneholder mellom 15 og 35 vektprosent H2O; et utslippstrinn, hvor den oppkonsentrerte ammoniumkarbamat-strømmen separeres og slippes ut.
