Abstract
Anordninger og fremgangsmåter for å måle fraksjonen av en væske i en strømning av våtgass er beskrevet, der anordningen omfatter én eller flere lyskilder som sender ut lys med en første bølgelengde der væsken er sterkt absorberende og sender ut lys med en andre bølgelengde som er nær den første bølgelengden og der væsken ikke er sterkt absorberende; og én eller flere følere for å detektere transmisjonen av lyset ved de første og andre bølgelengdene gjennom nevnte gasstrømning, der anordningen videre omfatter en prosesseringsanordning for å bestemme en væskefraksjon av væsken i våtgass-strømmen ved å korrigere transmisjonen målt ved den første bølgelengden for lysspredningseffekter ved anvendelse av transmisjonen målt ved den andre bølgelengden. Ved å benytte krysskorrelasjoner eller kjente strømningsmengdemålere kan anordningen anvendes som en strømningsmåler.
