Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og system for å utføre dynamisk linkvalg (DLS) mellom sende/mottaksenheter (TRU). En første TRU bestemmer hvorvidt den andre TRU har flere grensesnitt med en DLS mulighet. Hvis den andre TRU har flere grensesnitt med DLS muligheten, sender den første TRU en pakke til den andre TRU gjennom en valgt link. Den første TRU mottar deretter en rapport fra den andre TRU og vurderer kvaliteten på linken basert på rapporten. Den første TRU velger en link for en ny pakke i overensstemmelse med en forhåndsbestemt kriterie og kvaliteten på linken. Hvis den andre TRU ikke har flere grensesnitt med DLS muligheten, sender den første TRU periodisk prøvepakker til den andre TRU via alle tilgjengelige linker. Den andre TRU sender svarpakker og den første TRU vurderer kvaliteten på linken basert på statistikk av svarpakkene.
