The end surface is generally flat and extends from the inner surface to the outer surface at a point angle of less than 88 °, for example in the range 15-80 °, relative to the inner surface in a direction away from the tip of the tip. The feeder casts a metal foil article which has reduced surface defects caused by the metal oxide deficiency during casting.
