Abstract

Oppfinnelsen gjelder en magnetisk separasjonsanordning som brukes for å separere paramagnetiske substanser fra diamagnetiske substanser, dvs. de paramagnetiske substanser i samsvar med deres paramagnetiske susceptibilitet og de diamagnetiske substanser i samsvar med deres diamagnetiske suscebilitet. Oppfinnelsen kan brukes innen elektronikk, metallurgi og kjemi for separering av biologiske gjenstander og for å fjerne tungmetaller og organiske urenheter fra vann, osv. Anordningen i henhold til oppfinnelsen er basert på et magnetsystem av typen åpen domenestruktur og er utført i form av to hovedsakelig rektangulære permanentmagneter (1, 2) som er satt sammen ved deres sideflater og hvis magnetfeltpolariteter er motsatt rettet, idet deres magnetiske anisotropi er større enn materialenes magnetiske induksjon. Magnetene (1, 2) er montert på en felles basis (4) som er en plate fremstilt fra et ikke-magnestisk material og som passer til de nedre flater på magnetene, mens tynne plater (5, 6) som er fremstilt fra et ikke-magnestisk material er plassert på toppflaten av magnetene for å danne en spalte (7) anordnet over toppkantene (8, 9) av magnetenes sammenstilte flater. Det ikke-magnetiske substrat (10) for materialet (11) som skal separeres, plasseres over spalten (7).
