Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører et kraftgenereringssystem, en motorisert anordning omfattende et slikt kraftgenereringssystem samt en fremgangsmåte for å redusere drivstofforbruket av en forbrenningsmotor (12). Kraftgenereringssystemet omfatter en forbrenningsmotor (12), en elektrisk kraftforsyningsenhet (18, 26) som er i det minste delvis drevet av eksos generert av nevnte forbrenningsmotor (12) og en reversdrevet brenselcelle (30) koblet til den elektriske kraftforsyningsenheten (18, 26) og forbrenningsmotoren (12). Den reversdrevne brenselcellen (30) er utstyrt med elektrisk kraft ved den elektriske kraftforsyningsenheten og er arrangert til å sende ut hydrogen til forbrenningsmotoren (12) for anvendelse i driften derav. På denne måten reduseres drivstofforbruk.
