Abstract
En flerskala endelig-volum (MSFV)fremgangsmåte for å løse elliptiske problemer med flere spatial skaleringer som oppstår fra enkelt- eller flerfasestrømmer i porøse mediaer er tilveiebrakt. Fremgangsmåten fanges effektivt ved småskalaer på et grovt gitter og er konservativt og behandler vektorpenneabiliteten riktig. Den underliggende ide er å konstruere gjennomslippeligheter som fanger lokale egenskaper av en differensialoperator. Dette fører til et flerpunktsdiskretiseringssystem for en endelig-volum løsningsalgoritme. Gjennomslippeligheter for MSFV-fremgangsmåten blir fortrinnsvis konstruert bare en gang som et forbehandlingstrinn og kan beregnes lokalt.
