Oppfinnelsen gjelder en radiator (1) som omfatter et hus (2) og et varmeelement (3), hvor huset begrenser et varmekammer (8), en luftinntak (43), en første luftutløp (12, 36), hvor huset omfatter en forvegg (4) og minst en vendespjeld (10), hvor forvegg og vendespjeld begrenser første luftutløp, hvor varmeelementet er tiltenkt å varme opp luften som kommer fra luftinntaket, slik at denne oppvarmete luften ledes ut gjennom første luftutløp. I henhold til oppfinnelsen strekker spjeldet seg ut over en flate som stort sett er parallell til en flate der forvegg strekker seg ut, hvor spjeldet er forskjøvet framover i forhold til forvegg, for å lede luften parallelt til flaten på forveggen.
