Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for utvinning av metaller eller metallforbindelser fra metallholdige, faste partikler innbefattende flyktige forbindelser innbefattende tilførsel av de faste partiklene (50) gjennom en flamme (25) i en brenner (20). De flyktige forbindelsene fordampes deretter ved hjelp av varme fra flammen (25) mens den opprinnelige formen og aggregattilstanden av de faste partiklene opprettholdes, som derved tilveiebringer et råmaterialeprodukt (34). Råmaterialproduktet (34) blir deretter utvunnet. Ved mating av de faste partiklene direkte til flammen, tilveiebringes et kompakt og effektivt anlegg. Smelteprosessen kan kontrolleres på en tilfredsstillende måte, som unngår smelting av de metallholdige, faste partiklene tilført gjennom brenneren.
